As you may know this our most important fundraising event of the season and makes up about 75% of our annual fund raising. It is very important that it is supported well, so put it in your diaries please.

Another reason for this email is to remind any previous horse owners, that unless you let Billy or Derick know, you will automatically have your horse entered into the race program and will have to pay the owners fee of £20 per horse (inflation busting as it has not changed on more than 20years). So if you don’t want your horse you will need to let us know asap. The new Race Card will be going to print very soon.

On the other hand, if you would like a horse, you will have to get in touch with us and we will put you down for one. If you can think of a horse name all the better, an example would be my horse of 38 years “Big Boy out of Dublin” (Because I am 6foot4 and was born in Dublin), So the format is “(horse name) out of (name of mare)”. If you can’t think of one, we will think of one for you and you don’t really want that!

If you would like to change your horse name or which race you are in, let me know asap.

The Race card is not sold out yet. The remaining horses, if not sold beforehand, will be sold on the night. So if you are interested in becoming a horse owner this time, please let me know as soon as, because the card goes for printing very very very soon. It is open to everyone… Please watch out for follow up emails and club messages, as I will be asking again for raffle prize donations.
